about our sacco

Two decades of catering for growth

Member-owned since 2004 — from All Churches SACCO to Ammar SACCO, one mission has never changed: uplifting the social-economic status of our members.

our story

From a church hall to a SASRA-licensed SACCO

Ammar Sacco was initially registered as All Churches Sacco in December 2004 under the Co-operatives Societies Act Cap 490 to cater for the financial needs of its members. It was until the year 2019 we rebranded and changed the name to Ammar Sacco. Membership is drawn mainly from residents within Murang'a and Kiambu counties but it's open to all members of the republic of Kenya. The Sacco opened its Front Office Savings Activity (FOSA) in January 2012 and has been licensed by The Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA) to carry out Deposit Taking Business. The Sacco draws its customers from farmers, civil servants, teachers, employees from various organizations, youth, women, persons with disability and business people.
